The Magyar Tájvédelem nature-conservancy authority covers national-park waters at Aggtelek, Bükk, Balaton-felvidéki and Hortobágy, with ranger-coordination lead times of three to four weeks standard. The National Transport Authority handles vessel charters on the Danube, Tisza and Lake Balaton plus dive-sites authorisations. Regional water authorities clear river-bank dive operations, while the National Heritage Protection Office handles Bay of Bakony underwater archaeology and any work approaching the submerged Roman-period bridge remains.
