Multi-Camera Setups
Professional live event coverage and multi-camera production across Hungary.
Multi-camera setups deploy two or more cameras simultaneously to capture comprehensive coverage of scenes, events, or performances. From concerts at Papp László Budapest Sportaréna to the Sziget Festival on Óbuda Island, this approach maximizes shooting efficiency, preserves performance continuity, and provides editors with multiple angles from each take.
We coordinate multi-camera configurations with matched camera bodies, synchronized settings, and integrated monitoring systems across Budapest, Debrecen, Szeged, and Pécs. Our team works alongside the broadcast infrastructure connected to Origo Studios and Korda Studios — Europe's largest purpose-built studio — leveraging Hungary's deep pool of English-speaking technical crews.

MTVA, RTL Klub, TV2 and ATV multi-cam studios plus Sziget Festival and Müpa Budapest broadcasts
Here is how this works in practice. Multi-camera production in Hungary runs on the deep bench of MTVA (Médiaszolgáltatás-támogató és Vagyonkezelő Alap), RTL Klub, TV2 and ATV. The four TV networks whose Budapest studio factories have built a Hungarian telenovela custom (BUÉK, Aranyélet, 200 első randi, Doktor Balaton) plus reality-format powerhouses (Sztárban Sztár, Megasztár, X-Faktor, Master Chef Magyarország, Married at First Sight Hungary).
Here is the short of it. Our coordinators book vision-mixing crews, EVS replay operators and Tier-1 camera ops directly from those TV networks rosters or through Pannonia Cine Service Budapest, Origo Film Group Gear, Cinegrid Studios and Movi Hungary for independent OB-van calls. Switching infrastructure lands on NewTek TriCaster TC1 and TC2 Mini, Blackmagic ATEM Constellation 8K and 4K, Grass Valley K-Frame and Sony XVS-G1 desks. With Sony HDC-3500, HDC-5500 and Grass Valley LDX 86N broadcast cameras chained to fibre triax via Telecast Adder and Sony Anycast workflows. Wireless camera coordination clears through NMHH (Nemzeti Média- és Hírközlési Hatóság) range-licence sign-offs for 1.4GHz, 2.4GHz and 5GHz video links. Essential at venues running simultaneous press wifi.
Here is the breakdown. Live-event multi-cam scales across Hungary's signature venues. The Sziget Festival on Hajógyári-sziget (Old Buda Shipyard Island) draws 500,000+ attendees across August and runs as a multi-day broadcast with 16+ camera positions per main-stage call. Müpa Budapest concert hall and the Hungarian State Opera deliver acoustically-perfect classic and today's broadcasts. Papp László Aréna, MVM Dome and Groupama Aréna stadium host concerts, basketball, handball, MMA and major political events that need 10-18 camera plots. Festivals like Budapest Pride, Christmas Markets on Vörösmarty Square and St.
Here is what that looks like on the ground. Stephen's Basilica, Hungarian Film Week and the KAFF Kecskemét Animation Film Festival route through our multi-cam crews when MTVA, Duna World, Netflix Hungary or global broadcast partners need live coverage. NMHH broadcast-spec encoder pipelines integrate with MTVA Tech-Ops and the Netflix Hungary office spec sheets. The 30% Hungarian Tax Rebate via the Hungarian National Film Institute (HNFF) covers qualifying multi-cam operator and rental spend on feature, drama and entertainment formats. Though pure-broadcast live events generally sit outside the rebate envelope.
FAQ
Live Production Expertise
How many cameras can you deploy?
We regularly operate setups from 3 to 12+ cameras depending on event scale. For major concerts at Budapest Aréna or the Sziget Festival main stage, we can deploy extensive camera packages including specialty positions like jibs, roving cameras, and POV units.
Do you provide live switching and direction?
Yes, our multi-camera packages include experienced vision mixers and directors who switch between cameras in real-time, creating a polished live edit. We can deliver a switched program feed, ISO recordings, or both.
Can you live stream our event?
Yes, we provide complete live streaming services including encoding, CDN delivery, and platform management for YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo, or custom platforms. We can also provide satellite uplink for broadcast.
What about IMAG for live audiences?
We provide IMAG (Image Magnification) services for concerts and events, feeding live camera coverage to venue screens so audiences can see close-ups of performers and speakers.
Do you have OB van facilities?
We work with professional OB (Outside Broadcast) vans equipped with switching desks, monitoring, audio mixing, and all necessary infrastructure. Budapest's broadcast sector supports productions across Central Europe at competitive rates.
How far in advance should we book?
For major events, we recommend booking 4-6 weeks ahead to ensure equipment availability and proper planning. Smaller multi-camera shoots can often be arranged with 1-2 weeks notice.
